The High Inspector of Justice, Mr. Artur Metani received the Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Ambassador Vincenzo del Monaco.
Mr. Metani congratulated Ambassador del Monaco on his position in our country and praised the supporting role of the OSCE Presence in Albania’s journey to strengthen institutions, democratic values, and the rule of law.
The High Inspector of Justice acquainted the Ambassador of the OSCE Presence with the work done by the office of the HIJ in the past 14 months, the challenges, and results in the process of verification and disciplinary investigation of magistrates, as a public obligation for a justice with best western practices and standards.
The Ambassador of the OSCE Presence in Albania, praised the work of the High Inspector of Justice and expressed the readiness to support the office of the HIJ in the most efficient exercise of constitutional functions.
High Inspector Metani and Ambassador del Monaco shared the will to continue the inter-institutional cooperation, in order to support the activity of the HIJ, in strengthening its capacities.
