LEGAL EDUCATION STARTS FROM SCHOOL: METANI MEETINGS IN PËRMET AND KËLCYRË

The High Inspector of Justice, Mr. Artur Metani, accompanied by inspectors and members of the ILD staff, held working meetings with students and teachers at “Nonda Bulka” School in Përmet and “Kamber Bënja” School in Këlcyrë, as part of the institution’s public communication strategy to promote legal education. These meetings aim to strengthen HIJ’s interaction with the community through direct contact with various social groups across the country.

At “Nonda Bulka” School in Përmet, the students had prepared and presented the case study “Dilemmas of Justice”, engaging in a structured debate divided into two teams, with arguments for and against the case under discussion. Their involvement and the level of discussion were recognized through the distribution of certificates to the participants.

During the communication with the students, as well as with the teaching staff of both schools, the High Inspector of Justice, Mr. Artur Metani, emphasized the importance of legal education of the younger generation, as a way to form informed citizens and to increase public trust in justice.

Speaking about the tradition that the HIJ has established through cooperation with university and school students, Mr. Metani noted that such interactions with justice institutions should continue in the future. The High Inspector of Justice emphasized that schools are the place where society is shaped, and that tomorrow these students will also become part of the justice system.

The school principals, Ms. Anida Hajredini of “Nonda Bulka” in Përmet and Mr. Arben Zoto of “Kamber Bënja”, in Këlcyrë, thanked the High Inspector of Justice for selecting these schools for this informative meeting and presented to Mr. Metani and his team the progress of educational activity and institutional tradition, reflected in the school museum.
