During August 2026, the Office of the High Inspector of Justice (HIJ) continued its commitment to guaranteeing citizens’ access to the institution, to providing information, and to processing the requests and complaints submitted accurately, transparently and in compliance with the requirements of the law.
The Unit of Assistance and Information Coordination and the Archive-Protocol Unit provided uninterrupted service throughout the month, ensuring the receipt, administration and handling of citizens’ requests.
During this period:
- 9 citizens were assisted at the premises of the institution;
- 8 citizens received information by telephone;
- 3 requests for information were processed by the institution.
In the meantime, the Archive-Protocol Unit processed a total of 56 complaints, of which 55 were submitted by citizens and 1 by an institution.
