High Inspector of Justice Artur Metani held a working meeting with the European Union Ambassador to Albania, Mr. Luigi Soreca.
Mr. Metani presented the 13-month work of the HIJ, including challenges, achievements and further needs in order to fulfill the mission of punishing illegalities in the system as well a encouraging best standards of the work of judges and prosecutors.
“Meeting the expectations of the public of the justice reform must be a joint effort of all institutions.” – Mr. Metani said.
Ambassador Soreca congratulated the High Inspector of Justice Metani on the work done during his first year of work, as well as the good communication with the public.
Ambassador Soreca assured the High Inspector of Justice Metani that the European Union will continue to provide technical assistance for the High Inspector of Justice Office, to further increase its efficiency.
