For more than four years, the Office of the High Inspector of Justice (HIJ) has maintained an ongoing channel of communication with citizens through its survey on the institution’s activities, providing citizens with a concrete opportunity to contribute to monitoring the institution’s work by sharing their opinions, assessments and suggestions.
The survey is anonymous and takes only 3 minutes to complete. It enables citizens to freely express their views on their knowledge of HIJ’s role and functions, the quality of communication with the institution, the administration and handling of complaints, as well as their overall assessment of the activities of the High Inspector of Justice. The survey is open to all citizens, regardless of whether they have had direct contact with the institution.
For the period January – July 2026, a total of 44 surveys were completed, of which 37 online, through the official website www.ild.al, and 7 in paper form, at the Office of the High Inspector of Justice.
The feedback collected highlights several positive aspects, including the availability of information through the official website and the ease of navigating the process and submitting complaints, both electronically and in person. At the same time, citizens have suggested improving the speed of complaint handling as part of the institution’s service quality.
The survey has served as a tool for collecting citizens’ opinions since May 2022 and is periodically updated, with questions adapted to the needs identified by citizens, as well as reflecting growing public awareness of the role and functions of the High Inspector of Justice.
HIJ values every opinion, suggestion and criticism shared by citizens, considering them an important contribution to identifying needs and continuously improving the institution’s activities.
