Since September 2024, she has held the position of Assistant Inspector, in the Assistant Inspectors Unit at the Office of the High Inspector of Justice.
She graduated in legal sciences from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest, Romania, and in 2008 she received the title of “Jurist” from the National Chamber of Advocacy.
Ms. Milkani has 25 years of experience in the field of law in public administration, as a lawyer in the years 1999-2008, in the Legal Directorate at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Further, in the years 2008-2018 and during 2020, in the Ministry of Defense, she held the position of Head of the Sector and then Director of the Directorate of Inspection, Evaluation and Analysis, at the State Export Control Authority.
During the years 2018-2020, she held the position of Secretary General at the Independent Qualification Commission, an institution in which she also served as Legal Advisor in the Legal Service Unit during 2024.
In the period 2021-2024, she held the position of Director of the Directorate in the Transparency Programs Monitoring Directorate at the Office of the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection.
Ms. Milkani has extensive experience in drafting legislation and institutional legal representation. She has been trained and certified by domestic and foreign institutions and organizations within the framework of various projects and has participated in national and international activities and conferences, in the fields in which she has been employed.
She speaks Romanian, English, and Italian language.
