Lindita Ziguri was born on 06.07.1968 in Përmet and graduated with the title of “Jurist” from the Faculty of Political and Legal Sciences at the University of Tirana, Law Department. She currently holds the position of Inspector Magistrate Commanded at the Office of the High Inspector of Justice.
Ms. Ziguri was appointed Prosecutor in 1993 and in the years 1997-1998 she exercised the duty of District Prosecutor in the Përmet Judicial District Prosecution Office. In the period January 2002 – January 2021 she held the position of Prosecutor in the Tirana Judicial District Prosecution Office, where during the years 2009 – 2011 she served as the of Head of the Juvenile Section.
For her work as Head of the Juvenile Section and her contribution to the Reform of Juvenile Justice in Albania, Ms. Ziguri was awarded the “Award of Appreciation” by Transparency International Albania and UNICEF in 2009.
Throughout her career in Law, Ms. Ziguri has actively participated in various conferences and trainings related to expanding knowledge in the field of substantive and procedural criminal law, among which are the “Bankruptcy Procedures” of the International Finance Corporation, World Bank; “18th TAIEX International Forum for Prosecutors on Fighting Organized Crime” of the European Commission; “Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement” by the International Law Enforcement Academy.
