Since April 2026, Ms. Elena Pelushi has held the position of Deputy High Inspector of Justice. Since February 2021, she has served as Magistrate Inspector at the High Inspector of Justice, where she was seconded for a five-year term. In February 2026, she was re-seconded for a second five-year term as Magistrate Inspector.
Ms. Pelushi completed her higher education in law at the University of Tirana in 1999 and subsequently, in 2002, graduated from the School of Magistrates, Prosecutor profile. From 2001 to 2021, Ms. Pelushi served as a prosecutor at the Prosecution Office attached to the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës.
During the exercise of her duties as Prosecutor, she participated in a series of training programs organized by the School of Magistrates, the General Prosecution Office, and various other national and international institutions/organizations.
She is proficient in French, Italian, and English.
